COVID-19 Tenant Update #2 - 23/03/2020

As you all know the COVID 19 crisis has meant some very significant changes in the past 48 hours, with the borders closing to the Northern Territory in the bid to slow the rate of new cases and to shelter our local economy. Things are moving rapidly and each day the changes are evolving and we are constantly considering what we need to think of next to ensure the safety and well being of our team, our clients and tenants and contractors and the broader community to stop the spread.

We have made the decision to cancel all physical attendance for routine inspections indefinitely (until this crisis passes and we are all safe once again) however, we will ask you to work with us to provide a possible solution so that we can continue with our day to day functions as close to normal is possible. This may be a Facetime walk through done with you or even a ZOOM recorded walk through so we can send this to the property owner and report maintenance whether urgent or otherwise. It is still very important for us and the owner to be aware of such maintenance so we can plan and of course prioritise this.

At this stage all property maintenance will still be arranged as long as you are happy for us to send the contractors to you. They will of course be using strict hygiene practices and you must also ask for and or provide safe social distancing as required if you are present. Please be sure to let us know if you are not happy for anyone to attend and we can keep a record so that when it safer to do so we can arrange a later date.

Urgent maintenance that has the potential to damage the property MUST be reported and a mutual agreement and solution should be established to ensure this can be rectified.

Thank you all for your assistance and support during what is a very distressing time for everyone.

Please everyone stay safe out there and please do not hesitate to let your property manager know if you have any concerns or need to discuss anything at all about your tenancy.
